We're taking a break from the holiday rush to catch up on some long overdue posts and let you know where November went.
At the beginning of the month, we took a trip to the Northwest to visit family. Megan did really well on her first plane ride and Hailey, our seasoned traveler, was very excited to ride the airplane in her own seat. We went to Washington so Megan could meet her Great Grandpa and other extended family.

Hailey enjoyed visiting too and even let Great Grandpa tickle her and tug on her hair.

Back in Oregon, we helped Grandma celebrate her birthday where Megan and Hailey were both mesmerized by the glow from the candles.

We then headed to Maui with Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Kirsten for some fun in the sun.

We had a wonderful time going on a snorkel trip and taking in the sights of the island, including the enormous Banyan tree which covers an entire city block.

Both girls loved the luau and had wide eyes watching the dancers and colorful attire. Hailey still talks about the fire dancer.

Hailey loved building sand castles at the beach and couldn't get enough time playing the waves. Megan enjoyed hanging out with Grandpa and sticking her toes in the sand.

Of course we took some time to relax, which Megan decided wasn't a bad way to celebrate her five month birthday.

We had a wonderful vacation and made some great memories.

I LOVE the picture of the two girls. I can't believe how long Hailey's hair is! That's crazy!
