We had a very Merry Christmas this year full of laughter, love, and family fun. Kim's family came down to spend the holiday with us and the girls certainly soaked up all the extra attention. Hailey enjoyed decorating cookies, making snowflake ornaments, and having extra people to chase around the house. Megan loved all her extra hugs and had plenty of smiles to go around.

Hailey was really into Christmas this year and happily shared her favorite sweet treats with Santa. On Christmas Eve, she talked right along with Mr. Bear as he read 'The Night Before Christmas'.
We were all up bright and early Christmas morning to see what Santa left. Hailey was happy to see her 'flying dinosaur' that she requested and Megan was happy to find something she could chew on.

Even Maddie was excited about her new toy (which unfortunately met an early demise from some excessive chewing).

When it came time for presents, Hailey certainly wasn't shy and still loves to read, wear, eat and play with all her new things. Here she is modeling her new shoes from Uncle Kevin.

Megan even helped to rip open her gifts but preferred to taste the paper and bows.

Hailey enjoys her new picnic set and requested a picnic party with Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Kevin, where she served coffee and hot dogs. Cheers!

We braved the cold for the River of Lights at the Botanic Gardens and enjoyed all the fun displays. Hailey loved to run around looking at all the lights and found a sunflower that she proclaimed to be 'really really big'.

When you're cold and tired of walking, what could be better than catching a free ride?

Thanks to everyone for coming down to help make our Christmas Merry and Bright.

Looks like a wonderful Christmas was had by all. So glad Santa was able to pull through on the "flying dinosaur"; it's a tough request, so good thing Hailey took it to the big guy to get 'er done :0)
