We took Hailey to the Home Depot Kid's Workshop last weekend and realized we have a little builder on our hands. She first had to make sure she knew what every piece was for.
Then with a little hammering...
and a little sanding...
she made a picket fence planter.
Add a few flowers and it's perfect for our beautiful Spring weather.
The best part about the whole project was how proud she was of her work and how she loves to visit and water her special flowers every day.

We've done about six of these Home Depot workshops and Ellie LOVES them! She especially liked this one because of the flowers. She's so excited about them growing and growing and growing. The way she talks about them, you'd think they'll become a giant bean stock or something.
What a lovely and lovingly-made planter, Hailey! You will enjoy your beautiful project and flowers all summer long! You must check on them everyday and talk to them in a nice soft voice to make them grow straight and strong. We're looking forward to seeing them.
