It's been a busy few weeks complete with a road trip, birthday celebration and fun in the sun. We met Andrew's folks in Phoenix to take in some extra heat and see the sights. We had a great time at the Phoenix zoo where Hailey made friends with some goats,

and drove a tractor with Grandpa.

Megan enjoyed the free ride and seeing all the sights of the zoo.

The carousel is always a hit with the girls, and Hailey loves the challenge of picking just the right animal.

We enjoyed other Arizona pastimes of splashing in the pool and playing a few rounds of miniature golf.

Hailey loved playing under the giant grapefruit tree and picking grapefruit with Grandpa.

Megan loved exploring a new place, showing off her scrunchy face, and soaked up all the extra attention.

Many thanks to Gramma and Grandpa for a wonderful time and fun memories.

Back and home, we celebrated Andrew's birthday with his favorite pie. Hailey and Megan colored a wonderful card complete with balloons, smiley faces, and even a picture of Andrew fishing.

We've been keeping cool in our warm NM weather by playing with the water table. Hailey was certainly not shy to dig right in and showed Megan how to make a big splash. Megan also enjoyed testing out the water and found Hailey's antics highly entertaining.

We've been taking evening walks around the neighborhood where Hailey loves to point out every flower, mailbox and lamppost, Megan seems to hold conversations with the birds, and Maddie searches for bunnies.
Ahhhh....what great times!

that picture of Megan in the stroller makes her look so old!
It is great to see photos of all the sunny warm fun times in AZ. OR is presently struggling to let summer arrive...(rainy and 59 degrees today.) We had a great time with all of you! Thanks for driving over to AZ and enduring the even longer ride home with road closures and windstorms.
It was great to see the girls celebrating with Andrew and his birthday pie! We sure enjoy your blog.
Lovin' your blog! Great lookin' pics and looks like you've got a kid with some mad milkin' skills!
And the grandparents look completely happy! Looks like a great time!
