Despite the cold and rainy weather, we had a wonderful Easter celebrating with Andrew's parents in town. We even had a real bunny tasting the grass in the yard when we got up.
Hailey actually got to do two egg hunts this year: one outside with the neighborhood kids and one at home on Easter day. She quickly mastered the hunting part and loved to collect eggs in her basket.
With a little persuasion (and hints that there may be candy) she was eager to look inside the eggs and sample everything - the jellybeans were definitely a favorite.
She loved opening her Easter gifts and played with them all morning. She was especially fond of her new sunglasses and loved wearing them around the house.
Hailey even got to dye and decorate Easter eggs with Grandma.
We hope everyone had a special and fun day and we can't wait for the Easter bunny to visit again next year.
