Kindergarten
Today was Hailey's first day of Kindergarten. Although this day seemed light years away when she was a little baby, here we are with our little girl starting a new chapter in her life. Hailey has been looking forward to school all summer and was very excited when she woke up this morning.
Megan was also very excited for Hailey's new adventure, but kept saying that she missed her all day.
When school let out, Hailey was excited to see us and said she had a great time. Although recess and lunch were highlights of the day, she told us all about books they read, projects they did, and things they learned. All in all, it was a successful first day.
After school, we had a special treat to celebrate and she said she is looking forward to going back tomorrow.

Hailey, we are so proud of you! What a great picture. You are off to a wonderful new experience that will last for years to come. Glad you enjoyed your special treat to celebrate. Let's make that a tradition, ok.
