We recently took a road trip to Phoenix to spend a few days with Andrew's parents. Despite temperatures in the high-90's, we enjoyed several fun activities. Of course, we visited the pool a few times, where Hailey and Megan perfected their splashing as they jumped in. At mini-golf, the kids were lacking a bit in form, but had a great time 'pushing' their ball into the hole.
At a local train park, we saw trains big and small, walked through famous presidential cars, and rode on a smaller version around the park.
Of course, the carousel is always popular with the girls.
With a grapefruit tree in the front yard, Hailey and Megan found a great way to start the day (still in their pajamas) by picking fresh grapefruit for breakfast.
Thank you to Gramma and Grandpa for the fun trip. We all had a wonderful time, thoroughly enjoyed your company and loved all our fun adventures.
