Hailey cheered them on and both girls waved goodbye as they flew away.

Bye Bye Butterfly
Hailey received some live caterpillars for her birthday and we all enjoyed watching them grow, form chrysalis', and turn into painted lady butterflies. When it came time to release them, the girls were sad to see Spotty, Stripy, Spotty-Stripy, Rainbow, and all the others go, but knew they would be much happier exploring the big world.
One or two of the butterflies stuck around the yard for a bit which provided even more enjoyment, and Megan quickly found a new friend.
All in all, it was a fun experience and I think we'll definitely have to do it again next year!
