Balloons!

It's that time of year again, where hundreds of hot air balloons fill our skies and our two little girls excitedly point out the different shapes and colors floating overhead.  We were fortunate to have Andrew's sister visit for the Fiesta this year.  Hailey and Megan loved having Auntie Kirsten around and enjoyed taking her to her first trip to see the balloons.

We went to an evening glow event and the girls made sure to bundle up as the sun started to set.

Hailey and Megan were happy to see some of their favorite balloons as well as enjoy some newcomers this year, including a happy butterfly.

The evening was filled with wide eyes and big grins as we all enjoyed the colors and lights of the glow.

We returned to the field very early the next morning to enjoy the magic of a mass ascension.

Spider Pig was a favorite of both girls this year and we were very happy to find both a hippo and cat balloon to match the kids special friends.

It was another wonderful year for Balloon Fiesta and the kids are still talking about their favorite memories.  Many thanks to Auntie Kirsten for the great visit, fun times dressing up, and sharing in on all the fun.
