Thankful

We're a bit late for Thanksgiving (the whole month of November seems to have flown by), but we wanted to wish you all a belated Happy Turkey Day and share a few things that we're thankful for this year.

Friends and Family.  We were very fortunate to have Kim's family in town for Thanksgiving.  We had some wonderful food and made some great memories.
Hailey and Megan loved all the special attention and enjoyed playing games, reading books, singing songs, and making pies.
Thank you all for coming down to share the holiday with us.

Natural Beauty:  The picture doesn't quite do it justice, but we had some beautiful fall leaves to admire this year.  We all enjoyed looking at the colors and spending many hours outside enjoying the beautiful fall weather.
There was plenty of yard work to do and Hailey loves to be a "good little helper".  Of course, a girl needs to take a break from all that hard work.  She was very resourceful and fashioned her own place to relax.

Simple Pleasures:  One of the greatest joys of children is that they help to remind us what life is all about.  Whether it's driving a little car around the house, investigating the tiniest of details, or being transformed into a princess by donning a tutu and feather boa, the girls sure know how to have fun.  We're thankful that we can take time from our busy and hectic lives to enjoy these moments and share in their joy.

Handmade treasures:  We had several turkeys decorating the refrigerator this year and it was so fun to see Hailey get really excited about her artwork every time she saw it.

To all our friends and family near and far, we are thankful to have you in our lives and for all the love and support you continuously give us.  We hope you are having a happy and joyous holiday season.
