Daylight Savings - No Problem!

Hailey was a champ and slept in an extra hour this morning just like she knew what Daylight Savings was for. She must have really listened when we talked about it last night! :)
Of course everything goes in the mouth as she learns to explore new things and she's even found other fingers besides her thumb to taste.
Hailey has been doing very well eating her solid foods. She opens her mouth when she knows the spoon is coming and very little comes back out (that is of the food she likes). We recently tried peas for the first time and Hailey quickly let us know that she wasn't a big fan. She has mastered the lip lock and quick side-to-side head action making it almost impossible to get food in if she doesn't want it. Andrew even tried to convice her it was something much more tasty like quacamole but I think she caught on to him after a few bites. At one point we even though she was generating food as more seemed to come out than we put in - she must have a storage spot somewhere inside her mouth.
This morning we went to the 'Doggie Dash and Dawdle' which is a 2 mile walk for folks with their canine friends. Maddie had a great time of course and Hailey loved to watch all the people and other dogs. When we got home, she said she had 'this much' fun.
Hailey is doing well at sitting up and can go quite a while sitting and playing before toppling over. Of course, there are times where she really enjoys having the couch to lean up against. And one last Halloween picture that was too cute to pass up as Hailey, Andrew and Maddie were passing out candy to the trick-or-treaters.

I love the pictures of Andrew, Hailey & Maddie passing out candy. I'd love a copy. I am also happy to see that Hailey has her goals and priorities straight :o) -Her Auntie
