Solid Foods and other happenings

We've started Hailey on solid foods (rice cereal) for the past two days and she isn't quite sure what to think about it. She happily takes a few bites, tastes it, and even swallows a little. The next few bites go into her mouth and come right back out again and then she lets us know that she's had enough with the food and her high chair. We're giving her a little each day with the hopes that she'll eagerly take it someday. Hailey loves to look around and figure out new things and is still generally very happy. She occasionally has deep conversations with Cassie (we only wish we knew what they were about) while Shelby eavesdropes in the background. One of Hailey's friends, Kathleen, came over to play and do some floor aerobics.
We regularly go on walks in the evening and Hailey, Daddy and Maddie sometimes lay down to take a breather when we get home.
