Megan enjoyed playing with her good friend Greta in a pint-sized gingerbread house.
When it came time to decorate their own gingerbread houses, the girls each had their own unique decorating style and preference for candy tasting.
We were lucky to have Gramma, Grandpa, and Auntie Kirsten here to celebrate the holidays with us. Megan was thrilled to have them watch as she sang at her Preschool Christmas program.
Christmas Eve brought a lot of excitement and anticipation for the day ahead.
Hailey and Megan were excited about all their new toys on Christmas, and it wasn't long before they were having a camp-out with a new tent and campfire from Santa.
The fun continued with some dress up,
several puppet shows, puzzles, crafts, Legos, and more.
After Christmas we headed into the mountains to Angel Fire for a few days of fun in the snow. We enjoyed a whole day of snow angels, sledding, hot chocolate, and great memories with family.
The next day, Hailey and Megan tried out their ski legs for the first time. Despite the cold and a few nerves, they did really well and have fond memories of the slopes.
We enjoyed the sights of Old Town Albuquerque, and in true Megan fashion, she started dancing when she heard music.
We are now well into January, but the girls are still singing Christmas carols, playing with their new toys, and talking about all the fun times we had.

We loved our Christmas in New Mexico with everyone. It was very special seeing the holiday through the eyes of Hailey & Megan. We enjoyed all the excitement of seeing the Christmas lights and counting the navitity scenes. We enjoyed seeing Megan in her Christmas program and picking Hailey up from school and seeing her classroom. On Christmas,it was great to see what Santa brought and play with all the new toys. All in all, it was the best Christmas ever, sharing it with the girls, Kim, Andrew, and Kirsten.
