Travels to the Northwest

A few weeks ago we traveled to the Northwest to visit family, enjoy some green scenery. and soak up a bit of rain.  In Oregon, we spent time with Andrew's family, where Hailey and Megan loved all the extra attention and special time with Gramma and Grandpa.  We all had fun with the hands-on exhibits at the Portland Children's Museum.
The girls even found George, a familiar friend.
Despite several rainy days, we had beautiful weather on a trip to Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast.  Megan was especially excited to make her first trip to the beach in Oregon.
Megan and Hailey immediately dug their hands into the sand to start playing and had a great time making patterns in the sand with sticks.
When asked to take a break from playing for a picture in front of Haystack Rock, Hailey and Megan had slightly different ideas of where to sit.
Back in Portland, we had fun at the park with Auntie Kirsten, who got quite a lap full on the slide.
We drove up to Washington to visit Great-Grandpa 'C' who got to witness Hailey's coloring skills and Megan's sticker artwork.
It was so nice to see Great-Grandpa and other members of Kim's extended family and make great memories for everyone.
Thank you all for making our trip to the Northwest so great.  We all had a wonderful time and the girls have many great memories that they still talk about.  We're already looking forward to our next visit.

It was very much fun to have you all come to Oregon and Washington.
We were glad the weather finally cooperated for our trip to the beach. The girls are growing up so fast and are so fun to interact with.
