We tried to teach Hailey to play hide-and-seek, and there are two basic concepts that she doesn't quite seem to understand yet.
Scenario 1: Daddy tells Hailey to count to 10 and then come find him
Hailey: "One...two...three..."
Daddy starts to walk into the other room
Hailey: "four....five....six...." (while following daddy into the other room)
Scenario 2: Mommy tells Hailey to go hide and she'll come find her
Mommy: "One....two....three...."
Hailey runs into the bathroom and stands on the rug: "Hide in bathroom"
Mommy: "OK. four....five...six...seven"
Hailey yelling from the bathroom: "eight....nine....ten"
Mommy: "Ready or not"
Hailey comes running towards mommy: "Here I come!"
I guess we'll have to keep working on this one too.

Ha! Well at least she's got the counting part down... And maybe it's a GOOD thing Hailey hasn't mastered hiding from you just yet :0)
